Dome

The Edmonton Soccer Dome features leading-edge energy-saving lighting and air-handling units. At 170 yards x 90 yards x 28 yards or 510 x 270 x 84 feet, it provides Edmonton-area citizens of all ages a place to enjoy sport and leisure activities in a climate-controlled environment.

Playing Field

The facility features several field options to accommodate various game models

Option 1

Four (4) 7 v 7 Fields, 70 yards long x 37 yards wide

Option 2

Three (3) 9 v 9 Fields, 77 yards long x 47 yards wide

Option 3

One (1) full size FIFA regulation 11 v 11 Field, 115 yards long x 77 yards wide

Field Surface

ESD’s field features CORE FIFA QUALITY PRO certified turf launched in Canada in partnership with FieldTurf.

CORE is widely recognized as the highest quality turf product in the market today and is used at over 50 stadiums across the USA and Europe including the NFL’s Met Life and Gillette Stadiums, NCAA’s Ohio State and Rutgers Universities, and FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC training facilities.

Dressing Rooms

There are 4 large fully equipped dressing rooms connected to the Dome available for teams.

Dressing rooms are located in the Pavilion Club House.

Clubhouse

Currently the Dome is attached to the Scottish Pavilion, a kid friendly lounge with a full bar and food options.

Located next to the Soccer Dome, our Pavilion houses the changing rooms, extra washrooms and an all ages lounge.
